Morning Cubs and Sox Links

Not the greatest of days on either side of town. Both teams fall and lose ground in the playoff chase. Thankfully in August there is always another day.

Cubs lose. Tribune. MLB. AP.

Aramis may miss another game. Cortizone shot a possibility. Lou's ejection.

Samardzija won't be in the rotation long. But he's ready to go.

Levine updates pitching injuries. For both sides of town.

Sox lose. Tribune. MLB. AP.

Ozzie (and Ken) is tired of people being hit. More talk about the AL ROY.

Time to forget West Coast woes. Garcia may get a start.
