Cubs Drop Another One

Another day, another loss. Today Ted Lilly took the ball and was brilliant for six innings allowing only two runs- both on homers- and had to take a tough loss because the offense couldn't get the job done again.

Give Dodgers starter Charlie Haeger credit, he dominated the Cubs with his knuckleball and probably earned himself yet another start for the Dodgers. The Cubs had no clue what to do with the knuckleball and any hope people had for this season should be gone now.

I don't really know what to say beyond that. The season goes on, the pitching will still be fun to watch even if they don't score a single run the rest of the season. Randy Wells' quest for the rookie of the year will be the most interesting thing left this season.

It's very disappointing to watch this team, but whatever at least we have new owners to talk about.
